Shakima M. Clency

Shakima M. Clency is the National Director of Campus Partnerships and Student Success for the Kessler Scholars Collaborative, which supports over 1,000 first-generation, low-income college students across 16 institutions. In her role, she co-advises the Kessler Scholars Collaborative Student Leadership Board and leads initiatives that foster transformative experiences for Kessler Scholars. She also collaborates with college administrators to build institutional capacity to close equity gaps and strengthen support structures to enhance the first-generation college student experience.
