Ensuring Diverse Voices

For the past decade, the First Gen Summit has been welcoming all students to attend the summit for free. Institutional ticket package purchases, organizational sponsorship along with faculty, and staff administrator tickets keep the summit free for students and allow institutions of all types to attend. To ensure a diverse set of voices are represented at the summit we have developed ticket packages which limit on the number of students that can attend from each institution.

Tips for Ticket Purchasing

1) Purchasing Student Ticket Packages
  • Please consider using a generic institutional email to purchase the student ticket package as you can not use the same email twice.
  • Please purchase Student Ticket Packages and faculty/staff/administrator (F/S/A) tickets separately.
  • The system will treat the Student Ticket Package purchase like you are in individual feel free to use institution info for example
    First Name:
Southern New Hampshire Last Name: University it will ask you for dietary and other question just put N/A

2) Purchasing Faculty Staff Administrator Tickets

  • If you are an office/financial administrator purchasing F/S/A tickets be sure to use the F/S/A's email address and know their food needs.
  • If the student ticket package you purchased includes F/S/A ticket discounts you will need to wait to receive an email from the student planning committee with discount codes to purchase the discounted F/S/A tickets.
  • F/S/A tickets should be purchased individually with individual email addresses
    • This ensures F/S/A's receive their ticket QR code required for admission
    • This unsure we have each F/S/A's dietary restriction information for breakfast and lunch
    • This ensures F/S/A's have access to the online program schedule for the day
